safeREACH as a guest at the Leadership Preparedness Symposium 2024

safeREACH looks back on two intensive days at the Leadership Preparedness Symposium 2024. On 21 and 22 May 2024, the Technical Museum in Vienna was the meeting place for numerous managers from companies, governments and organizations. Crises triggered by pandemics, power outages, cyberattacks and much more are increasingly becoming the rule rather than the exception.

This also poses new challenges and tasks at management level. The Leadership Preparedness Symposium was all about this. But what exactly do these challenges look like? Which tasks have to be on the to-do list? How can senior management prepare for crises in general without knowing exactly what to expect? All of this was the topic at LPS 2024 in Vienna.

Challenges and solutions from a variety of industries

Dr Leonard Marcus and Eric McNulty, professors at the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative at Harvard University, were the keynote speakers. They provided the participants of the Leadership Preparedness Symposium 2024 with insights into the meta-leadership framework and illustrated how important leadership and management qualities are for creating resilience in companies and organizations as well as at management level.

Exciting discussions and insights at LPS 2024

The Leadership Preparedness Symposium provided us with exciting insights into the topics of crisis management and business continuity management. A crisis is rarely an isolated problem that only affects a single division or department. A holistic approach is therefore essential for successful crisis management and the best possible preparation for crisis situations. Such a holistic approach also increases the level of complexity, which continues to rise due to the sheer number of crises around the world. The right skills, techniques and tools as well as experience from best practices help to master such complex challenges.

safeREACH as alerting software and crisis management tool supports every company and every organization in crisis preparation and management. With predefined scenarios, you can react in seconds in the event of an emergency and move on to finding and implementing a solution with the right people.
